Every day an invoice ages past 30 days, its probability of collection drops. This isn't pessimism β it's actuarial reality. The priority algorithm β (days_aged^1.2) × log(amount) β weights overdue time more than invoice size, because collection probability decays faster than you lose on smaller amounts. A $2,000 invoice at 90 days is often a worse position than a $10,000 invoice at 30 days. The exponent (1.2) captures this non-linear decay. This is the same formula RollForge uses in production to rank dunning sequences.
